Frankenstein & Ihmissusi (1974–1976) was a Finnish horror-comic series published by Semic, reprinting American stories originally written by Doug Moench and illustrated by a rotating team including Val Mayerik, Gil Kane, and Miguel Gómez Esteban. Across its 24-issue run, the series paired two classic monsters—Frankenstein's creature and the Werewolf—in standalone adventures that leaned into moody, action-driven horror. It stands as a notable example of how Marvel's monster comics of the early 1970s found a dedicated audience in Finnish translation, offering a distinctive blend of gothic atmosphere and superhero-style storytelling.
