Frændeløs

In 1986, Donna published the single issue of Frændeløs, a Danish comic adapted from Hector Malot's novel and brought to life by the art and writing of Piet Wijn. This standalone release captures Wijn's distinctive illustrative style and his adaptation of a classic story of a boy searching for belonging. Though brief, it represents a notable European comic adaptation of literary source material.
