About the series
Set in a gritty, Depression-era New York, Four Eyes reimagines the city's underworld through a fantastical lens where dragons are the beasts of burden and blood sport. Written by Joe Kelly with visceral art by Max Fiumara, this Image Comics series follows a young boy's desperate journey into the illegal dragon-fighting circuit to save his family. Though only a single issue has been released since 2010, its unique blend of historical fiction and dark fantasy has left a hauntingly original impression on readers.
