About the series
In the mid-1960s, Archie Comics launched this short-lived superhero series, written primarily by Superman co-creator Jerry Siegel. It follows teenager Tommy Troy, who gains the power to transform into the winged hero Fly-Man, alongside his ally Fly Girl, with art by Paul Reinman and Mike Sekowsky. Across its 8-issue run, the series offered a bright, Silver Age take on the superhero genre from a publisher better known for its teen humor.
