Flipp & Flopp

Francisco Ibáñez, best known for his work on Mortadelo y Filemón, brings his signature slapstick energy to this short-lived Danish series from Interpresse. Running only four issues from 1979 to 1981, Flipp & Flopp features Ibáñez’s distinctive cartooning, with Norwegian writers Velle Espeland and Kåre Stensvold contributing to the scripts. A fast, fizzy European oddity, it’s a curious footnote in Ibáñez’s international output.
