Flintstones 3-D

In the late 1980s, Blackthorne Publishing brought the modern Stone Age family to a whole new dimension with Flintstones 3-D (1987–1988). Over four issues, writer John Stephenson and artist Jorge Pacheco sent Fred, Barney, and the Bedrock gang on slapstick adventures that popped off the page through the then-popular 3-D comic format. This short-lived series stands as a quirky, era-specific novelty, capturing the Hanna-Barbera characters in a gimmick-driven experiment that reflected the comic industry's early embrace of dimensional effects.
