About the series
From 1987 to 1989, Marvel Comics took readers back to Bedrock’s youth with Flintstone Kids, an 11-issue series reimagining the classic Hanna-Barbera characters as grade-school pals. Anchored by the writing of Michael Gallagher, Angelo De Cesare, and Tony Franco, and brought to life with the energetic, rounded art of Warren Kremer and De Cesare, the book focused on young Freddy Flintstone, Barney Rubble, Wilma Slaghoople, and Betty McBricker navigating prehistoric childhood.
