About the series
DC’s Flinch (2015–2016) was a short-lived, two-issue horror anthology that revived the publisher’s tradition of unsettling short stories. Writers Joe R. Lansdale and Steven T. Seagle, alongside artists John Estes and Rick Burchett, delivered a pair of grim, standalone tales that leaned into psychological dread and dark twists.
