In 1982, Elvifrance launched a single-issue comic series based on the Sega video game Flicky, adapting the cheerful bird's arcade adventures into a short-lived print format. While the series itself was brief, it stands as an early example of a European publisher translating a Japanese video game into bande dessinée, capturing a moment when gaming and comics intersected in the European market.
