Flax

A short-lived but visually consistent Norwegian comic series, Flax ran for 22 issues between 1969 and 1971 under the Illustrerte Klassikere / Williams Forlag banner. The series is most closely associated with artist Jim Davis, whose frequent contributions defined its look across the entire run. While its brief tenure places it as a minor entry in the publisher’s catalog, Flax remains a curious artifact of late-60s European comics publishing.
