Flash Gordon

In the mid-1970s, French publisher Éditions des Remparts revived the iconic space adventurer Flash Gordon for an eight-issue series. Primarily written by Harry Harrison and Dan Barry, with Barry also handling the art, this run blended Harrison's sharp storytelling with Barry's dynamic, classic illustrations. A notable international collaboration, the series brought a fresh, pulpy energy to the character during a period when European comics were reimagining American heroes.
