About the series
From 1972 to 1977, Gevacur published six oversized Fix und Foxi Jahrbuch annuals, each a hefty treasury of European adventure and humor strips anchored by the beloved fox brothers. Belgian artist Erik Vandemeulebroucke was the most frequent contributor across the run, lending his clean, expressive linework to the series' all-ages escapades. These yearbooks offered a durable, deluxe format for the classic Rolf Kauka-created characters, capturing the wholesome, globe-trotting spirit of German-language comics at their family-friendly peak.
