First Bite

First Bite, a one-issue comic from Chick Publications released in 2008, is a standalone evangelical tract written and illustrated by the prolific Jack T. Chick. Like much of his work, it uses stark, direct art and a dramatic narrative to deliver a Christian message, in this case through a vampire-themed allegory. While a brief entry in Chick's vast library, it exemplifies his signature approach to using popular horror tropes for proselytizing.
