About the series
From 1996 onward, DC Comics introduced a new take on the classic Firebrand legacy with a nine-issue series. Brian Augustyn wrote this modernized run, with art by Sal Velluto, M. D. Bright, and Tom Grindberg bringing the fiery vigilante to life. The series explores the mantle of Firebrand as it passes to a new, determined hero, offering a fresh perspective on the character's place in the DC universe.
