Film Klassiker

For a brief run in the mid-1960s, BSV - Williams published Film Klassiker, a photo-comic series that adapted classic movies into 18 issues. Writers John Gay and Robert Ardrey, alongside artists Gerald McCann and Jack Lehti, translated celebrated films into a hybrid of photography and sequential art. The series stands as a curious artifact of its era, blending cinema and comics before the latter fully embraced original storytelling.
