About the series
From 2007 onward, Image Comics published Fell, a taut, atmospheric crime series written by Warren Ellis and illustrated by Ben Templesmith. Set in a nightmarish city where the rules of reality seem to bend, it follows a detective navigating a world of corruption and surreal danger. Though only a single issue was released, the series is remembered for Templesmith's moody, expressionistic art and Ellis's lean, hardboiled storytelling, making it a cult touchstone for fans of dark, psychological noir.
