Feelgood Funnies

A short-lived but notable underground comic from Rip Off Press, Feelgood Funnies ran for just two issues between 1972 and 1984. The series is most closely associated with the talents of Foolbert Sturgeon (a pseudonym for Frank Stack) and Gary Frutkoff, who together handled the bulk of the writing and art. Though brief, it stands as a representative example of the counterculture energy and satirical humor that defined the underground comix movement of the era.
