From 1966 to 1970, Le Lombard's Favorietenreeks offered a rotating anthology of adventure and historical comics, with each of its 32 issues spotlighting a different story. The series drew heavily on the talents of writers Yves Duval and the Funcken duo (Liliane and Fred), while artists like Dino Attanasio, Fred Funcken, and Berck brought the action to vivid life. A staple of the Belgian publisher's lineup, it served as a showcase for European comic craftsmanship during the mid-century boom, offering readers a varied, high-quality sampler of the era's genre storytelling.
