About the series
In the late 1980s, Northstar Comics launched Faust Preview, a single-issue introduction to a dark, modernized take on the classic legend. This black-and-white preview, associated with writer/artist David Quinn and artist Tim Vigil, set the stage for their influential, ultra-violent series Faust: Love of the Damned. As a standalone glimpse into a grim, supernatural underworld, it remains a key artifact of Northstar's edgy, independent horror publishing.
