Fathom

A revival of the underwater epic Fathom, this 2002 miniseries from Mandragora brought Michael Turner’s aquatic saga back to the surface. Spanning three issues, it continued the story of the Blue, the mysterious race of water-dwellers, with Turner’s signature kinetic art and sleek, high-concept sci-fi. Though brief, the series reaffirmed the franchise’s visual and narrative ambition during the early 2000s, bridging the gap between its original Top Cow run and later expansions.
