Fat Ninja

Jamey Boyum wrote and drew all three issues of this short-lived 1990–1991 series from Greater Mercury Comics. It follows a portly ninja protagonist, blending martial-arts action with a lighthearted, self-aware tone. Though it only ran for three issues, the series is a quirky artifact of the early-’90s indie-comics boom, showcasing Boyum’s singular vision as both writer and artist.
