Fastwalkers, launched in 2023 by the Belgian publisher La Cinquième Couche (5C), is a single-issue comic that explores the concept of "fastwalkers"—beings or phenomena moving at impossible speeds just beyond human perception. The series, still ongoing, blends speculative fiction with a grounded, atmospheric style, inviting readers to question the boundaries of reality. While only one issue has been released so far, it has already established a distinctive voice in contemporary European comics.
