Fashion Beast

In 2012–2013, Avatar Press published Fashion Beast, a ten-issue comic series that adapts an unfilmed screenplay by Alan Moore and Malcolm McLaren. The story reimagines the classic Beauty and the Beast tale, transplanting it into a gritty, dystopian fashion industry where a reclusive designer and a young woman navigate a world of glamour and grotesquerie. Written primarily by Antony Johnston from the original script, with art by Facundo Percio, the series stands as a unique, darkly stylish artifact of Moore's collaboration with the legendary Sex Pistols manager.
