Fantomets krønike

In the late 1990s, Danish publisher Hjemmet/Egmont launched Fantomets krønike, a 92-issue series that systematically reprinted the classic newspaper adventures of Lee Falk’s masked jungle hero. Running from 1998 to 2010, it became a definitive archival project, with most issues crafted by writers Claes Reimerthi, Gerd Hoff, and Jens E. Røsåsen, and artwork primarily by César Spadari, Hans Lindahl, and Jaime Vallvé. For Scandinavian readers, the series offered an authoritative, long-running look at the Phantom’s legacy, preserving the strip’s globe-trotting pulp spirit for a new generation.
