About the series
Marvel’s Fantastic Four Unlimited (1993–1995) was a 12-issue quarterly series that gave the First Family of superheroes room to stretch out with longer, self-contained stories. Written primarily by veteran Roy Thomas, the book featured a rotating roster of artists including Herb Trimpe, Alex Trimpe, and Claudio Castellini, each bringing a distinct visual energy to the team’s cosmic and street-level adventures. Though short-lived, it served as a companion to the main Fantastic Four title, offering fans extra doses of Reed, Sue, Ben, and Johnny during the early ’90s.
