Fantômes Échos du Monde du Spiritisme

From 1972 to 1975, Editions Héritage presented Fantômes Échos du Monde du Spiritisme, a 24-issue horror anthology series that translated and reprinted American supernatural comics for a French-Canadian audience. The series is notable for featuring some of the finest macabre work by Steve Ditko, Tom Sutton, and Pat Boyette, whose moody, atmospheric art brought ghostly tales to life. As a key entry in the publisher's line of translated genre comics, it helped introduce North American horror sensibilities to Quebec readers during a rich era of transnational comic publishing.
