Famous Funnies

A short-lived 1960s revival from I. W. Publishing (under their Super Comics imprint), Famous Funnies ran for just three issues in 1963–1964. The series is primarily associated with artist Jon D'Agostino, whose work defined its brief run. Though it shared a name with the landmark 1930s title that pioneered the comic book format, this later iteration is a distinct and minor entry, notable mainly as a curious footnote in the history of the Famous Funnies brand.
