About the series
Marvel’s 1983–1984 Falcon series, a four-issue limited run, gave Sam Wilson his first solo spotlight, teaming writer Jim Owsley with artists Mark Bright and Paul Smith. It paired the winged hero with his falcon sidekick Redwing, while pitting him against threats that also drew in Captain America (Steve Rogers) and the villain Max Dillon.
