Evolution Six

In 2016 and 2017, Bamboo Édition released Evolution Six, a five-issue miniseries that reimagines the origins of six classic superhero archetypes—each representing a different evolutionary path for humanity. Written by the French team of Jean-Pierre Pécau and Fred Duval, with art by a rotating cast of illustrators, the series blends sci-fi and mythology as it explores how these godlike beings emerge in different eras and cultures. It stands out for its ambitious, globe-spanning narrative and its philosophical take on what it means to be a hero in a world shaped by evolution.
