Evil Ernie

In the late 1990s, MG Publishing revived the punk-horror antihero Evil Ernie for a nine-issue series, following the undead serial killer’s bloody rampage through a world of supernatural chaos. This run, most closely associated with creator Brian Pulido, deepened the character’s mythos by pitting him against dark forces and exploring his twisted relationship with the demonic Purgatori. A key title in the Chaos! Comics universe, Evil Ernie (1999–2000) remains a defining example of the era’s edgy, horror-infused independent comics.
