Eve: Valkyrie

In 2015 and 2016, Dark Horse Comics released a four-issue miniseries bridging the gap between the Eve Online MMO and its then-upcoming virtual-reality spin-off, EVE: Valkyrie. Writer Brian Wood, alongside artists Eduardo Francisco and Borkur Eiriksson, delivered a standalone story centered on a young pilot navigating the brutal, high-stakes world of spaceship combat in the New Eden cluster. With Eiriksson's painted visuals lending a unique, atmospheric texture, the series offered an accessible entry point for newcomers while rewarding longtime fans of the EVE universe.
