Eulenspiegel

In the early 1950s, German publisher Pabel Verlag presented Eulenspiegel, a 24-issue comic series inspired by the legendary trickster Till Eulenspiegel. Most frequently illustrated by artist Dorul van der Heide, the series brought the medieval prankster's folk tales to a post-war audience with a light, humorous touch. It stands as a notable example of early German comic publishing, adapting classic folklore into a serialized format.
