Espectros: Espectro

In the early 1970s, Spanish publisher Ediciones Vértice launched Espectros: Espectro, a 38-issue horror anthology series that brought a uniquely European sensibility to classic monster and supernatural tales. Known for its moody black-and-white artwork and translation of American comics, the series became a touchstone for Spanish readers hungry for macabre storytelling during a period of strict censorship.
