About the series
In the late 1980s, Norwegian publisher Ide & Strek revived the classic Arctic adventurer Eskimonika for a four-issue series titled Eskimonika på nye eventyr (1988–1992). Written by Terje Nordberg and illustrated by Arild Midthun, this short run brought a beloved, locally iconic character back to the stands for a new generation of readers.
