Ernie [Ernie bok]

From 1993 to 1999, Norwegian publisher Bladkompaniet (later Schibsted) released six issues of Ernie, a comic series built around Bud Grace’s beloved, perpetually grumpy strip character. While Grace himself handled the artwork throughout, the writing duties were shared among Grace, Sigbjørn Stabursvik, and Tom Ostad, giving the series a slightly varied voice while keeping its signature deadpan humor intact. A short-lived but fondly remembered entry in 1990s Norwegian comics, Ernie brought the internationally syndicated gag strip to a dedicated local audience.
