Eric Castel

Raymond Reding both wrote and illustrated this Belgian series, which ran for ten issues from 1981 to 1990 under the Novedi banner. It follows the adventures of its title character, a figure whose exploits defined the series’ scope during that decade. While not a household name internationally, Eric Castel represents a focused, creator-driven European comic of its era.
