About the series
From 1978 to 1979, Cahaya Printing Company published Eppo, a 76-issue Dutch comic series that became a vibrant showcase for adventure and humor strips. Most frequently illustrated by Peter de Smet, Robert van der Kroft, and Uco Egmond, the title is best remembered for launching the long-running Sjors & Sjimmie stories and for its role in shaping the Dutch comic landscape of the late 1970s.
