Epos

The Norwegian humor series Epos debuted in 1957, created by Sverre Kildahl and running for a compact ten issues. Though its initial run was brief, the strip found lasting life through the work of writers like Hans-Jürgen Linden and Charlie Bood, with artists Eugen Blumentritt and Bood himself defining its visual style. A playful, lightly satirical comic, Epos remains a fondly remembered early entry in Norwegian comics history.
