Enola Holmes

In 2020, Daedalus launched Enola Holmes, a comic series adapting Nancy Springer’s young-adult mystery novels, with Serena Blasco as the driving creative force—writing and illustrating alongside co-writers Winke Dejaegher and artist Lucie Arnoux. Spanning seven issues, the series follows the teenage sister of the famous detective Sherlock Holmes as she forges her own path in Victorian London, solving cases with wit and independence. It stands out for bringing Springer’s beloved literary character into a fresh visual medium, capturing the charm and cleverness of the original stories for a new generation of readers.
