In 1980, Bahia Verlag launched a single-issue comic adaptation of Emmanuelle, the erotic novel and film phenomenon. The series is most closely associated with the celebrated Italian artist Guido Crepax, whose distinctive, stylized linework brought the titular character's sensual adventures to life.
