From 1980 onward, Semic Press published Elf gruwelijke verhalen, a single-issue comic that collects eleven chilling tales. The book is most closely associated with the distinctive, visceral artwork of Richard Corben, whose illustrations bring these horror stories to life. Writers Allard Schröder and Jan Strnad contributed to the grim narratives, making this a notable Dutch-language showcase of Corben's macabre style.
