El Víbora Especial

Between 1980 and 2003, Ediciones La Cúpula published 27 issues of El Víbora Especial, a companion to the legendary Spanish underground comix magazine El Víbora. The series served as a showcase for alternative and transgressive cartooning, with the Dutch provocateur Willem contributing both writing and art across its run, while American satirist Peter Bagge also appeared frequently as an artist. Its pages offered a raw, unfiltered window into the international counterculture of its era, cementing its place as a vital document of offbeat, adult-oriented comics.
