El Rayo de Baal

A short-lived but beloved supernatural horror comic from SADE Publicaciones, El Rayo de Baal ran for six issues between 1962 and 1963. The series is best remembered for its atmospheric, black-and-white artwork and its tales of ancient curses, haunted objects, and vengeful spirits, often with a distinctly Latin American folk-horror flavor. Though its run was brief, it remains a cult touchstone for fans of classic, pre-code-style horror comics from outside the mainstream American market.
