From 1975, Editorial OEPISA's El Planeta de los Simios brought the iconic film franchise to Spanish comic shops across nine issues. This short-lived series adapted the world of intelligent apes ruling over humans, capturing the dystopian tension of the original movies for a new audience. It remains a distinctive, early example of international licensed comics from the 1970s.
