El Inmortal

In 1980, Spanish publisher Riego Ediciones launched El Inmortal, a short-lived two-issue series written and drawn by Paolo Ongaro. The comic, whose title translates to "The Immortal," introduced a mysterious, enduring protagonist, with Ongaro handling both story and art across its brief run. While the series itself was limited in scope, it stands as a distinctive example of early-80s Spanish genre comics, showcasing Ongaro's singular vision as a complete creator.
