El Cuento del Mes

The Spanish series El Cuento del Mes (1954–1955) presented a complete, illustrated story in each of its 14 issues, published by Editorial Mateu. Each installment offered a self-contained narrative, making it a concise monthly dose of comic storytelling during the mid-1950s. Though it was a brief run, the series is a notable example of the period's European comic anthology format, showcasing the variety of tales available to readers at the time.
