El Cuarto de Lautréamont

A single-issue comic from Editorial Sins Entido, El Cuarto de Lautréamont (2013–present) is a Spanish graphic novel that reimagines the life and work of the 19th-century poet Isidore Ducasse, better known as the Comte de Lautréamont. The book’s surreal, darkly poetic narrative is most closely associated with its writer and artist, who crafts a visual meditation on the artist’s creative solitude and the haunting legacy of Les Chants de Maldoror.
