Edelweiss

From 2023 onward, Lauwert published Edelweiss, a French comic series by writer Cédric Mayen, co-writer James Vandermeersch, and artist Lucy Mazel. Set in the Alps, it follows a young woman’s perilous quest to save her village from a mysterious blight, blending folklore with environmental themes. With only one issue so far, this debut marks Mazel’s evocative art style and Mayen’s narrative focus on nature and community.
