Edderkoppen

From 1984 to 1993, Semic Press published Edderkoppen, a Norwegian comic series that ran for 111 issues, serving as the primary vehicle for Spider-Man stories in the region. The series showcased a rotating roster of top talent, with writers like Jens E. Røsåsen and Ingrid Vaalund alongside American mainstays David Michelinie, while artists such as Todd McFarlane, Ron Frenz, and John Romita Jr. defined the visual identity. As a long-running localized anthology, it introduced Norwegian readers to key Spider-Man adventures of the era, bridging the gap between U.S. Marvel comics and Scandinavian audiences.
