Dynamite Dave

A short-lived but warmly remembered slice of indie superheroics from Vision Comics, Dynamite Dave ran for just two issues in 1987 under writer/artist Ryan Holland. The series introduced a modest, blue-collar hero whose low-key adventures stood in contrast to the bombast of the era's mainstream capes. Though brief, its earnest, character-driven tone has given it a small but devoted following among collectors of late-80s alternative comics.
